Angel Fish
I have a card to share with you....I have shared 2 other creations on my other blog using this technique I absolutely love it!
I created this card using the "oh crab" stamp set from Mark's finest papers. I used the angel fish and the senti, inside it says thank you...I took 3 paint colors started with red, then purple, then finished with a peachy pink color...I then rolled some bubble wrap in white paint and then rolled it on my card...I stamped my fish in black ink and added sparkles to their fins. I'm entering this in the Tutorial Time challenge on Speedy TV which is where I got the technique from.

I followed the sketch from the SCS greeting farm sketch challenge...I added lots of flowers for the Anyone For Anya flower challenge, and I used the colors of the "golden hour" for the retro fresh greeting farm challenge (the blue really is lighter I don't know why it showed up so dark in the pics)

enjoy nature's splendor
today I have a "Joy fold" and spotlight card to share with you
I really like this fold and the technique I haven't done either in a long time...but with them both being challenges at MFP I thought I'd give it a try once more.
I used my Autumn glory stamp set from MFP and followed the mesurements for the tutorial on MFP I had to alter the front a bit but the others seemed to be perfect! (I did turn it) and with the spotlight I followed that tutorial as well (they have some awesome tutes over there) I stamped my MFP leaf to make some patterened paper and used a lil fall looking flower to hold the card shut...I love how this turned out...if you know me you know I love fall!
thanks for taking a look :)

CDAC a day for daisies
CDAC is on its last day for round 14 and I have had this image colored since day one but have just now put it on a card...ha ha I'm a procrastinator :)
so here is my creation using the image from a day for daisies.I used an old book paper, and my new stamp from Graphic 45's lil darlings set. I colored it with some tim holts inks, and glued everything one...I tried to keep it simple and masculine for all baby boys that are coming into my world.
also the challenge this week at a day for daisies is to use "found paper"

Sweetest thing
today I have another creation to share with you for the CDAC progressive challenge.I used the milkshake image from Lauretta's Digital Stamps and I colored it with my markers, then added some puffy paint to make the cream look more well like cream :) my swirly background paper I made using the shaving cream technique (I have a tutorial here) and the senti is from CTMH

Free stuff!!!
you guys have to check this out...this girl got all this free stuff
all she did was refer her friends to this awesome site called Blitsy, its free to register and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday they have awesome sales on scrapbook/crafting supplies
I'm brand new to it so I don't know much but I just didn't want to keep this to myself...I sure hope its not to good to be true!
from the way I understand it is, you earn $10 credit when your referred friend makes their first purchase.

Evolution?
I finally got to my CDAC card!
I took inspiration from Ike and stole her sentie :) thanks girl!
I used the free image provided by Just Inklined and colored it with my pencils...then used my nib and blended my colors...I cut up my paper stuck everything on...added some buttons...and there I have it! I also followed the sketch for The Sweet Stop this week.

BFF Betty
I made this card the other day and I just love how it turned out!
this was the first time I have ever used white hair...well kinda bluish-white, and that is my first bow like that...and you will be seeing them more often I love them! I used my everyday Teen scene simply Betty stamp and I think this may be one of my faves! the "best friends" stamp came from CTMH...I was sure to use a Betty so I could enter it into the Simply Betty challenge.
I also followed the sketch from Critter Sketches this week.

Baby Shower!!!
I have a baby shower to run to but I wanted to share some cards I made and some decorations I madeMy sister's shower is today and I made these two lil bassinets out of diapers to go on either side of the diaper cake my mom is making....super cute huh? they were easy too...well would have been if I used bigger diapers...if you going to try it...don't use newborn diapers:)
the two cards are for my sis and my half sis...they are due only days apart...I think one is feb 10 and the other the 12....I used my "growing love" stamp from Sweet Pea stamps, and I colored her with my pencils then took my nib and blended the colors...I added some dimensional fabric paint to the dots in their hair, and added some glitter to their tails....the quotes say "A moment in my tummy...forever in my heart" and "to the world you may be one person...but to one person you may be the world"enjoy off to the shower I go
