Happy New Year!
here is a lil something I created for the new year!

the image is from Sassy Studio's Design, they are having a New Year's challenge right now. I colored it up and added all my elements and papers and I think it turned out really cool...kinda makes me wanna go kiss my hubby :)
the sketch I followed came from Sketch N Stash.

There is a challenge over at MFP and it is an oriental sketch challenge...I just remembered I had this image and I was dying to use her! 

the paper was a freebie online and I colored my girl up in GIMP and added the papers and words in My Memories Suite.

Today I'm going to share with you the Birthday card I made for my sister

I used all Stampin' up products....the paper and ink colors are coastal cabana, and Wisteria wonder, I stamped my birthday greeting from the Label love stamp set and punched it out with the coordinating Artisan Label punch, the party hats are from A Fitting Ocassion stamp set, and my background paper is embossed with Lacy Brocade (which is on sale right now!) I added glitter around my greeting and to the spots on my party hats...I sure hop she likes it!

you kick booty

Today I have a card to share with you...

 I used Sassy Studio Designs image called Miranda (from sassy in the city) and I colored her with pencils then I used the current Dare to be sassy Thursday challenge cut and paste (paper piecing) and pieced her dress shoes and her earring...I used Stampin Up papers for the background and a super cute button from Stampin Up's brights collection and topped it all of with some White baker's twine...all the papers and the stamp came from a Paper Pumpkin kit...the kits have enough stuff to make 4 cards and with me cutting it up and adding brown and other things I'm going to get so many more!

Mark's Finest papers challenges

today I'd like to share a couple of cards I made for some Mark's Finest papers challenges over on their forum....

first up is a Sympathy card I hope I'll never have to give

I used the masking tape technique and some flowers from MFP oopsy daisy set and the sentiment. I kept it very clean and simple and I just love how it turned out!

next up is my Oriental Sketch card

and for this one I used an oriental writing background stamp I got from blockheads stamps and the senti came from there too and the tiger I got off ebay...not sure who made him....but I just love the greens and blacks on this and my daughter loves tigers so thats how this came together!  the Wisdom senti is punched out using the Artisan Label Punch from Stampin' Up.

today I have a fun card to share with you...very bright and happy :D

I colored her up with GIMP and used Lizquiz papers and MMS to put everything together...the super cute image is from TSC Recipes...I love her! and she was just screaming to be bright and...awesome ;)

I followed the sketch from the Digi Sketch Challenge and I tried to follow the theme too..but its kinda hard to show it digitally...oh well :)

Super Birthday

today I have a "super" card to share with you

its for my 13 yr old nephew's birthday this weekend...he is finally a teenager! weird I can remember when he was in diapers...lol
I took my Super hero from Kenny K and colored him up, then I stamped a star background and did some blue spray and some gold paint and some glitter punched out some stars and typed my senti and put it all together! my super guy is on pop dots so it looks really cool...the camera seems fuzzy I'm going to have to get DH to fix that.

today I have a SB card to share with you...she was the freebie for the SBS FB challenge...and we were to use ribbon and swirls

I colored her up with pencils and added some glitter to her dress...embossed my background and added purple paint and tied it all up with a ribbon...loved working with this image!

she was a freebie on FB so I colored her up with gimp and used My Memories Suite to make my card...love how it turned out! the embellies and papers came from Summer Driggs...I also followed the Sweet sketch Wednesday sketch.
