Sweetest thing

today I have another creation to share with you for the CDAC progressive challenge.I used the milkshake image from Lauretta's Digital Stamps and I colored it with my markers, then added some puffy paint to make the cream look more well like cream :) my swirly background paper I made using the shaving cream technique (I have a tutorial here) and the senti is from CTMH
I followed Carly's Sketch this week.

BFF Betty

I made this card the other day and I just love how it turned out!
this was the first time I have ever used white hair...well kinda bluish-white, and that is my first bow like that...and you will be seeing them more often I love them! I used my everyday Teen scene simply Betty stamp and I think this may be one of my faves! the "best friends" stamp came from CTMH...I was sure to use a Betty so I could enter it into the Simply Betty challenge.
I also followed the sketch from Critter Sketches this week.

Day 2 tag

Today for day 2 of Sassy Studio's Progressive challenge I have made a tag with the Amelia image

I embossed my clock and then brayer rolled some barn red ink over the tag, I then stamped some images from CTMH wrapped it with some string and topped it off with more string....colored my girl with colored pencils, and there I have it...super cool...and DH loves it (not sure if he loves the tag or just thinks the image is hot...but either way I'll take credit) :)

can't wait to see the next image!

Steampunk Josephine

Sassy Studios has reached 500 followers!!!
and they are celebrating this week...they are starting it off with a progressive challenge...today's image is free and she is a babe! I'm so excited for this release!
here is my card

I colored her up with my pencils (for some reason the green isn't showing so well...but her outfit does have allot of green on it and not white) I added some liquid glass to her goggles, then I made some alcohol ink accentuate background paper, and took some brown paper and added some UTEE to it and stuck my girl on it with some pop up dots, added my CTMH senti some ribbon and some metal (as is the challenge) and there I have it!

can't wait to see what tomorrow brings us!

Some kind of Wonderful

today I made a card for the new Tiddly Inks Challenge


I wasn't sure what Kraft paper was...so I had to google it...and now I know...learn something new every day don't ya....anywho...I made this super cute card using colored pencils and CTMH paper and the senti came from CTMH as well, I just love Tiddly Inks images and now that they have just released some new ones...I can't wait to get my inky hands on them!
I also used the skipping stones designs sketch...thanks for taking a look...see ya next time:)

Key to my man's heart

here is a recipe card I made for yet another challenge at the VSN, this was for the "Key to a Man's Heart" challenge. and this recipe is a never fail! DH just loves it...and it just disappears so fast!


my girl image came from Tellen's place, and the key and recipe card stamps are from CTMH, I just love making my own recipe cards...some are so bulky I really should stop but I just love adding fun things to them!! I'm entering this into the Tellen's place challenge as well due to the fact that it has buttons on it, and their image :)

Sweet Pea Valentine

I saw at QKD they have the Triple Tiarra Tuesday Challenge going on this month and one of the weeks was a sketch


after coloring my image with colored pencils I used my UTEE and then when trying to adhere it to my card I cracked it...so I went with it and cracked it some more...I really like the look... the card base I glimmer misted some hearts, and the love came from CTMH.

QKD chalkboard card

Over at QKD they have been having some challenges all month and I was going to enter them but never got around to it...last night I made a card for their challenges it actually fits into two, the sketch the first week, and the Chalkboard Technique the last week.
