I created a card for this round of the CDAC freebie challenge.I took the cute lil bird from Doodle Pantry and gave him a Santa hat (from KennyK) and added my senti (from CTMH) he is colored with my colored pencils!

now onto my news...as you may have noticed I have been doing allot of digital projects lately...the reason for this is because I won a giveaway and my prize was MyMemories Suite Software!!!! I saw that Terra and Sugar also had this software and I hope they are loving it like me...this is how I have been making my digital cards lately, there are so many tutorials it made it super easy to get started...and the fact that I can export them to jpeg files and share them with my family...and you guys...its just awesome! I already have some baby announcements made, and I'm planning on making my Christmas cards this way too, before I received this software I was just going to take my baby pics to Walmart and have them do it...but I like this so much better! its so much more personal, and with all the free digital papers and kits that are out there it makes it that much easier (yes the majority of my digital papers were free, I think the only ones I bought are from Susan's Crafty Chaos) I also just found out that you can add video and sound to your projects...this will be great when making those baby scrapbook pages to send to grandma, and have a lil video of her cooing or her first steps...oh I'm so excited!

Grin and Bear it

Today I have made a card for the CDAC Progressive freebie challenge.
I decided to use the winter bear from Designed 2 Delight and my senti is from CTMH

the paper and ribbon were from my stash and I added some glitter glue and snow writer to my snow to make it more dimensional...I hope you enjoy viewing it!
I didn't really have much time...baby is asleep and I still need to take a shower and do laundry...but I just had to get some crafting in! ;)

she is beautiful healthy and happy

I had to have a c-section but all is good now and we are both healthy...one of us is sleep deprived but its so worth it!

Sassy Christmas

There is a Christmas challenge at the Sassy Studios blog and I just found out that my odds are pretty good at winning (no entries but mine) so I made this lil digi card...took allot longer than I wanted to...and I'm not in love with it..but I do like how it turned out!

I took the Daisy's Dreidel image and deleted her Dreidel and put her on an ornament (because that's the challenge...Christmas ornaments) the papers and embellies came from Computer Scrapbooks.com and the sketch is from Pink Sketch Challenges.

I used Vivian this time...the last image...yay I made it! now cross your fingers for me and the grand prize!

Vintage Victoria

Today is challenge #3 of the progressive challenges over at Sassy Studios...and the image we were given to work with is Victoria! and again another babe!


my card is all digi...the paper came from Crafty Chaos Designs...and the sketch is from Inspirational card sketches....I got a new digital scrapbooking program and this is my first creation...hope its ok...I'll get better! The other part of the challenge was to make a vintage creation...I think I got that pretty good....well off to practice with my program some more...see ya'll next round!

Day 2 tag

Today for day 2 of Sassy Studio's Progressive challenge I have made a tag with the Amelia image

I embossed my clock and then brayer rolled some barn red ink over the tag, I then stamped some images from CTMH wrapped it with some string and topped it off with more string....colored my girl with colored pencils, and there I have it...super cool...and DH loves it (not sure if he loves the tag or just thinks the image is hot...but either way I'll take credit) :)

can't wait to see the next image!

CDAC round 5

There is already another round of Progressive Freebies at CDAC...I thought I should hurry and make my project incase my baby comes early and I miss out...

so I created this recipe card...

I have to make like 20 of these to pass out at thanksgiving so I'm so glad I found the perfect image! This image is by Digidrawn. I just colored it with my pencils I printed two of the image so I could make one cookie pop up...and then I added a border to the top...super cute...I think :)

Steampunk Josephine

Sassy Studios has reached 500 followers!!!
and they are celebrating this week...they are starting it off with a progressive challenge...today's image is free and she is a babe! I'm so excited for this release!
here is my card

I colored her up with my pencils (for some reason the green isn't showing so well...but her outfit does have allot of green on it and not white) I added some liquid glass to her goggles, then I made some alcohol ink accentuate background paper, and took some brown paper and added some UTEE to it and stuck my girl on it with some pop up dots, added my CTMH senti some ribbon and some metal (as is the challenge) and there I have it!

can't wait to see what tomorrow brings us!

Autumn Glory

I won this stamp set by commenting in the new release blog hop for Mark's Finest Papers and I’m loving it!

I used the leaf pheasant and senti all from this Autumn Glory set….I stamped my leaf in CTMH inks (autumn terracotta, Olive, and Chocolate) and then I stamped my pheasant image and liquid glassed my bird to make him stand out…mounted it all and added a lil green ribbon and there I have my super cute card! I loved it so much I made 3 more for the fall mfpspeedytv swap

Sassy Studios has had a super busy weekend!
They hit 400 followers on PCP and had a huge party to celebrate....still a few hours if you want to snag some freebies!

speaking of freebies...this brings me to my card today...

this weeks challenge is back to school...and their Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge is school colors...perfect!

here is my creation for the little glimmer of College school spirit I have in me still....not really I never had school spirit...I'm a drop out :D

I colored her with pencils and printed a school logo type thing and ya not much else to it...

Super Congrats

This week's Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge is a recipe challenge
Use 3 Designer Papers, 2 flowers and 1 Ribbon
so here is what I came up with...

I used the Super Hero image and colored him up with my pencils, made some rosette flowers (man enough I think) and some rickrack ribbon...the papers came from CTMH as well as the congrats stamp...and ya...there I have a "super" cool card...now I just have to wait for the right occasion.....

Sprinkle love dragon for a cause

Scrappy D's House of Cards is having a fundraiser challenge
all you have to do is purchase a digital image (all proceeds go towards the cause) and make a card/project and you are entered into the challenge...
here is what I createdfor my card I used the Sprinkle Love Dragon, and a CTMH paper and stamp...She is colored with colored pencils and liquid glass was added to her eyes and sparkles to the hearts. I also used the sketch from this weeks Sketchy Colors.

the "cause" is for a lady named Lyndall and her family, Lyndall has been diagnosed with a rare cancer.

I'm hoping to donate some of my cards for them to sell to further help.

Over at Sassy Studio Designs they had a new release and there were all sorts of giveaways...they also have a PCP group that every Friday they give away a freebie to use and this week I finally made a card in time!

her name is Dhyana and this was way fun to color! the challenge is Girly Girl and so I tried to use un girly colors and make them girly by adding bling...I think she turned out super cute! I colored her with my colored pencils and added my "Namaste" that I got from StampInsanity.

There is also a weekly challenge "Dare to be sassy Thursdays" challenging us to use more than one diecut that I would like to enter this card into.
I also followed the sketch on the Prairie Fairy challenge.

so I took my Holla back girl and put her on some bright summery paper (from summer driggs...fitting for the challenge) and added some flower embellishments, put her sitting on a present and there I have it, this is completely digital...and so fun!

Gel sea turtle

Here is a super cute card I made for the Tiddly Inks challenge
"Were all Gell-in'!"
we are to create a gell card...I love these! I have made a few...but not enough...Meredith had a super cool and easy tutorial on her blog that I followed for my creation...

I used the SeaTurtle image...I think he was free at one point....but he is super cute and I don't know why I didn't use him before (maybe because its hard to make him creepy) I colored him with pencils, tied ribbons in all my buttons, and stamped my senti from one of my tattered angels stamp sets....

reindeer tilly

over at Simply Betty Challenges the Scrappy Side of Simply Betty challenge right now is to create a Christmas tag using Cranberry Red, Snow White, Hot Cocoa Brown, and Teal.....seeing as how I just got a super cute new Christmas image I just had to play along!!

here is my super cute Reindeer Tilly tag

the background paper is made by me...smearing my tag in some teal ink. Then I stamped some lil Christmas trees, Colored Tilly with pencils, and embellished it up with some ribbon and a cute lil reindeer I found in my stash!

I used the mistletoe image and took out the mistletoe and added a shamrock to fit the season. she is so sassy and sexy I miss using her outside of winter.... I colored her using colored pencils, and added the free shamrock image from Shannon's Sentiments (whom is having a new challenge starting today) the senti is from there too.... cut it all out and stuck it together and there I have a super sassy card! love it!!!

NEWS

to some of you this will be an update...to others its news...

I just got back from the Dr and they say I'm 6 weeks pregnant! I took a home test weeks ago and saw my dr early last week and he scheduled me for an ultrasound to be positive on how far along I am...it sucked having to go in with a full bladder! but in the end it was worth it! I'm so happy right now! and DH looked pretty happy too...he was so cute just staring at that screen.... this is just so cool!!!

today I made a card for the new Tiddly Inks Challenge


I wasn't sure what Kraft paper was...so I had to google it...and now I know...learn something new every day don't ya....anywho...I made this super cute card using colored pencils and CTMH paper and the senti came from CTMH as well, I just love Tiddly Inks images and now that they have just released some new ones...I can't wait to get my inky hands on them!

OWH Bunny Hop

Welcome to the OWH bunny hop...I'm going to try to keep this short and sweet I know there is a big list to hop threw (over 100 blogs)....so be sure you start at the beginning...which is the Hero Blog and while your there have a look around, also check out the OWH website, there they have inspiration, and free images to use on cards to send to our troops.... if you're planning on sending some for Easter or Mother's Day be sure its in by the deadline (March 18 for Easter, and March 31 for Mother's day) now onto my card and the hop.


For my card I used Shannon's Sentiments images, the bunnies and the sentiment are from that store ( I just love that the quotes are so versital and already written for me) There is a challenge at Shannon's Sentements this month and it is to use Spray Mists...easy enought...and my sketch came from Totally Gorjuss.

Key to my man's heart

here is a recipe card I made for yet another challenge at the VSN, this was for the "Key to a Man's Heart" challenge. and this recipe is a never fail! DH just loves it...and it just disappears so fast!


my girl image came from Tellen's place, and the key and recipe card stamps are from CTMH, I just love making my own recipe cards...some are so bulky I really should stop but I just love adding fun things to them!! I'm entering this into the Tellen's place challenge as well due to the fact that it has buttons on it, and their image :)

Ghost in a red dress

this card I created for the VSN challenge "Heart Health" the challenge was to use a red dress in honor of woman's heart health logo....


So I took my sassy ghost and put her in a red dress...I used my nestibilites and made a shape card for the current challenge at Sassy Studio's designs. as well as the flower challenge at Stampin B's

I heart you bear

this card I made for a VSN challenge on Split coast, the challenge was called "rubber duckie" and the challenge is to use either the image or a symbol on your card of your 'first love' from childhood.


I also created this card for the Kenny K challenge this week...it was a sketch challenge and I really had some fun with this one...used baby colors and such and my Kenny K bear...the senti on the heart came from Shannon's Sentiments. I'm also entering this into the Gingerloft furry animal challenge.

daisy eater

this is a new image I got over at Deedee's Digis....I finally found a super cute goat image! I was so happy and he is so adorable!! I have a goat...his name is Gus (named after Agustis McCrae from Lonesome Dove) so I made this card with him in mind...and yes he does eat daisies....along with everything else in sight...especially the trees.


this goat just isn't fat enough to be him though :)

Marshmellow Dragon

I have used another one of my sweet pea images its called "Marshmellow Dragon" and I think he is adorable!


I colored him with markers and colored pencils, the marshmallows are some snow paint stuff that I mixed with some brown so they look burnt....

Sunflower Angel

I have made another Sweet Pea card...if you can't tell I just can't get enough of these stamps!
this one is called "Sunflower Angel" and she was a blast to color!


I used glimmer mist on my background and got it really wet then dropped some alcohol inks on it, my image was colored with markers and pencils, I also added some liquid glass to her crown
